Like everyone else we are trying to adapt to a new set of very challenging circumstances and things keep changing on a daily basis. But we want to try and keep you updated, so here is the latest: for the time being MusicSpace will stop seeing clients face to face at its centre in Bristol, we are very sad that we are not going to see people but also very clear that we can’t put anyone at any unnecessary risk. Our work in schools, residential homes and other centres is also on pause for the time being.
We are now working hard to find a way of delivering music therapy digitally so we can keep on providing therapy to those who can and want to access it remotely. So watch this space and we will update you when we have more news on this.
We are also very concerned at the moment about the future of our charity. We are facing uncertain times financially with a huge loss in income but we really want to make sure that we keep going during this period of uncertainty and that we can continue to provide music therapy to those who need it. We know everyone is under all sorts of pressure at the moment, but any donation you feel you can make to keep our services running at this time would be very gratefully received. Please visit our donation page for info on how to donate: https://musicspace.org/support-us/donate/
In the meantime, stay safe. You are in our thoughts.
Best wishes
MusicSpace team
