Job Summary

MusicSpace, the largest provider of music therapy in the South West, seeks a passionate and experienced Fundraising & Marketing Manager to join its team. This part-time (2.5/3 days per week) home-based role offers the opportunity to play a vital role in securing MusicSpace’s future by developing and implementing effective fundraising and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising:
    • Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities through grant applications, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with MusicSpace’s strategic goals.
    • Build strong relationships with donors, funders, and community partners.
    • Manage and report on fundraising activities.
  • Marketing & Communications:
    • Develop and execute a compelling marketing strategy to raise awareness of MusicSpace and its impact.
    • Manage and maintain MusicSpace’s website and social media presence.
    • Create and distribute marketing materials that promote MusicSpace’s services.
    • Collaborate with the therapy team to develop engaging content.
  • Administration:
    • Maintain accurate records of donor information, gift-aid declarations, and fundraising activities.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations.
    • Generate reports and provide data analysis for fundraising and marketing initiatives.
       

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising and marketing, ideally within the charity sector.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.   
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for music therapy.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, including social media management and website maintenance (desirable).
  • Experience with database management (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A genuine passion for MusicSpace’s mission and a commitment to its success.
